Solidarity in Action

Amidst complex humanitarian issues and urgent queries, the First Conference for Hosting Countries of the World’s Humanitarian Hubs was convened on the margins of COP28 in December 2023. Organized by Dubai Humanitarian in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the conference brought together representatives from hosting countries including the UAE, Spain, Panama, Malaysia, Cameroon, Italy, and Jordan.

Uniting for Humanity

The Global Safety Net takes on a leading role in advancing a global intergovernmental network of humanitarian hubs. This strategic initiative aims to boost the collective efforts of the humanitarian community around the world, focusing on emergency preparedness and response, as well as fostering innovation and sustainability in humanitarian actions.

Harnessing Innovation for Global Impact

Global Safety Net’s pivotal role in this visionary assignment is rooted in its commitment to innovation, exemplified by the Humanitarian Logistics Databank. The ultimate goal is to harness the power of this Databank on a global scale, facilitating seamless information sharing among the 11 humanitarian hubs and building a net zero sustainable humanitarian supply chain, making the humanitarian industry, once again, an example of conviction, ethics, and innovation.
